I was so excited to see my friend, Dr. Donald Richey, featured in the news recently. For those of you who don’t know, Dr. Richey is the founder of the “Brighter Days” foundation, and is also on the Cinco Vidas Medical Advisory Panel. He was kind enough to write a foreword to my book, When Cancer Hits, where you can find more information on him and his foundation.

I have personally attended one of Dr. Richey’s much-needed workshops and was blown away by the response from the beautiful patients that needed the information so badly on how to deal with all the side effects on their hair, skin, and nails. I am so proud of Dr. Richey and his mission.

Dr. Richey Attends Symposium, Brings Home Hope to Patients With Advanced Basal Cell Carcinoma

At a recent Dermatology Symposium attended by Dr. Richey, a revolutionary new treatment for basal cell carcinoma was unveiled. FDA approved, Erivedge™ is indicated for adults with metastatic basal cell carcinoma or locally advanced basal cells that have recurred following surgery. This is a significant advancement in the treatment of this condition not available until now.
