A frequent condition that occurs in dry, winter months, dry skin, is simply the loss of moisture. A few simple tips can reduce the discomfort!
1. Do not use hot water.

Dr. Richey Sheds Light on Dr. Oz Show Topic
A recent episode of the Dr. Oz Show featured a physician discussing a cosmetic procedure called the Y-Lift. Responding to patient inquiries, Dr. Richey was able to clear up some of the confusion on this topic. The brand name under discussion here is apparently proprietary and the procedure using this name was initiated by a physician in New York. It differs only slightly from the process that Dr. Richey and many cosmetic physicians across the country have been utilizing for many years to restore a youthful structure to the face using Injectable Filler Products. Rather than simply injecting appropriate formulas in the mid and upper face areas to produce a lifting and contouring effect, the Y Lift involves an additional step. A titanium instrument is used to lift the muscles in the treated areas prior to injecting a product, placing the formulas underneath the muscle to produce the desired effect. There is a variety of opinion in the aesthetic world as to whether the extra step actually yields additional benefits. Registered Nurses at Rejuvené Attend Advanced Laser Seminar
It is one thing to own lasers, but quite another matter to ensure that skin care professionals who are performing treatments with them have the most highly developed knowledge possible. For this reason, Dr. Richey consistently provides opportunities for advanced trainings on all technologies. Most recently, the three Registered Nurses at Rejuvené attended a weekend laser summit in San Francisco. Stacey Graham, RN, BSN, made the following comments after attending this event.
“Thank you, Dr. Richey, for sending us to the Sciton Laser Users Meeting last weekend in SF! It was outstanding. Dr. Richey keeps all of us that administer laser treatments up to date on procedures we offer at Rejuvené in order to deliver optimum results to our patients. We learned the latest techniques and reviewed combination treatments used to address aging skin, hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun spots, in addition to updating hair removal techniques.
